Argentine Tango is a dance of improvisation between
a lead and a follow. There is no basic set pattern - only a set of guidelines setting it apart from other dances.

- This series is designed for those who have no dance experience or for those wish to improve on their core skills & techniques. Topics: Posture, Cadencias (Weight Transfer), Pivoting, Embrace (Connection to your partner), How to Lead/Follow, Caminada (Walking), Ochos, Paradas, Mordidas, Rock-Step turns, and Calesita basics. Every 4-class series covers slightly different topics.

Course Description:
- Tango Nuevo is a modern style of Argentine Tango. This class is a 6-part series is designed to fuse Nuevo Tango moves in with traditional Argentine Tango for use on the dance floor. Such moves as Soltadas and Colgadas will be taught along with Volcadas, Gaunchos, Sacadas, etc. This series is in conjunction with the Passion for Tango Society.
This series will cover ~ 2 topics/subjects per class with a high focus on technique and review of the previous day's topic.

Milonga Description:
A milonga that respects the Golden Age tango while supporting the new generation’s exploration of what tango can become.
Music is a mix of traditional (50%) as well as nuevo and alternative tango music (50%).

Private & Semi-Private Lessons
Private lessons are the best and fastest way to learn Argentine Tango. We, encourage everyone who wants to dance Tango well to arrange for private or semi private lessons. Advantages of private and semi-private lessons:

- Improve rapidly

- Single/Couple - $65/$70 per hour
- Single/Couple - $60/$65 per hour* (with a min of 5 hours)
- Single/Couple - $55/$60 per hour* (with a min of 10 hours OR if you are currently taking a series)
All applicable taxes and studio fees are already included into the price!
The time allotments of 5+ and/or 10+ hours are to be paid at the first session. Sessions can be divided up into 1 hour (or longer) sessions.
